Peter Elenbaas |
Peter has an extensive coaching background at many levels. He is the former Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School ice hockey coach for eleven seasons (2001-2012), including seven as the head coach (2006-2012). He is also the former L-S assistant and subvarsity lacrosse coach for twelve seasons (2001-2012), and the former Director of Activities & Athletics. Peter is currently the Associate Principal at L-S.
Peter's favorite part of coaching is teaching kids life lessons that translate off the ice. The value of team, community service, a growth mindset, wellness and fun are the essence of what kids should get out of playing ice hockey, or any sport. Specific to hockey, I love seeing kids learn how to create and compete through playing small-sided, competitive games in practice. Peter is the proud dad of three boys, Sammy '06, Caleb '08 and Timmy '12.
